There once was a girl named Katie

There once was a girl named Katie
Who was a very lonely lady
San Diego, her home
She can’t afford a phone
Her work pays her a small fee
Katie at 30
Is living her life
Can’t seem to be Anyone’s wife
Her hair, though long, is frayed at the ends
She can’t seem to make any new friends
A Honda she drives
An apartment she rents
Her dad wants to know if she has any dents
A sad story it be
I am only me
I am the youngest of the Burrus family tree

my favorite part is:
"An apartment she rents
Her dad wants to know if she has any dents"

..for that to come out in a poem, meens that it was on the forefront of your mind...

Derk, This is great! Mom would love to see it but she has to learn to use the PC first. I'm holding that over her head. Hope you are doing these at work.
